- 2 lb cod fillet (any white fish), cut into serving-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Dash of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Fish: Cut fish fillets into serving-sized pieces.
- Make the Butter Mixture: Melt butter and stir in lemon juice.
- Coat the Fish: In a separate dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dip fish pieces in the butter-lemon mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Bake the Fish: Place coated fish in an ungreased baking dish. Drizzle with remaining butter mixture and sprinkle with paprika. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 25-30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
