- ½ pound lean ground beef
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 1 pound processed cheese, cubed
- ¾ cup salsa
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (optional)
- Taquitos for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Taquitos:
If using, cook taquitos according to package directions. - Brown Beef and Onion:
In a large pan, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat. - Add Cheese and Spices:
Add the cubed processed cheese, salsa, cumin, and chili powder to the pan. Reduce the heat to low and stir until everything is melted and well combined. - Stir in Cheddar Cheese:
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and milk (if using) until smooth. - Serve:
Serve the dip warm, accompanied by taquitos or your favorite dippers.
