1 lb ground beef
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
3 medium potatoes, diced
4 cups beef broth
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Brown the Meat: In a large pot, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat. Drain off excess grease.
Add Vegetables: Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
Combine Ingredients: Stir in the pinto beans, corn, diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30-40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Serve: Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, if desired.
