- 6 cups mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.)
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your slow cooker to low. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg whites, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Coat the Nuts: In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts. Pour the sugar mixture over the nuts and toss to coat evenly.
- Slow Cook: Transfer the coated nuts to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Finish and Cool: Spread the cooked nuts on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
