Fudge Layer:
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup butter
Chocolate Layer:
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Coconut Pecan Topping:
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 large egg yolk, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Make Fudge Layer: Melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour into a parchment-lined 8×8 inch pan. Refrigerate.
- Make Chocolate Layer: Melt milk chocolate chips, condensed milk, and vanilla. Pour over set fudge layer. Refrigerate.
- Make Topping: Combine evaporated milk, sugar, butter, egg yolk, and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool slightly.
- Assemble: Spread topping over chocolate layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Cut and Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy!
Tips:
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Let the topping cool slightly before spreading to avoid melting the layers.
