Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
  4. Create the Sauce: Stir in the paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Combine and Bake: Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and stir until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  6. Add Cheese and Bake: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
