For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the Caramel Dipping Sauce (optional):

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Make Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
  2. Assemble Egg Rolls: Place a wrapper diamond-shaped. Add filling to the center. Fold bottom corner over filling, then sides, and roll up tightly. Seal with water.
  3. Heat Oil: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan or fryer.
  4. Fry Egg Rolls: Fry a few egg rolls at a time for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Coat with Cinnamon Sugar: Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll warm egg rolls in the mixture.
  6. Serve: Serve warm with caramel sauce (optional).
