Ingredients
4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
2 tablespoons honey, preferably raw
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prep the Pears: Halve pears and core. Use a melon baller or spoon to deepen the core cavity.
Assemble the Filling: In a small bowl, combine feta, cranberries, honey, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Fill the Pears: Stuff the pear halves with the filling.
Arrange and Bake: Place pears, cut side up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with any remaining filling.
Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the filling is bubbly.
Serve: Serve warm or at room temperature, garnished with walnuts, if desired.
